Windows OS

• To improve hard drive performance, defrag your hard drive regularly.  For Windows XP or Windows 2000 go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools  and click on Disk Defragmenter.

• In case of a hard drive crash, always have current Emergency Repair Disk stored in a safe location. On Windows 2000, create or refresh this disk by going to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Backup.  On the Tools menu, click Create an Emergency Repair Disk.
